Regional DECA Results from Monday, November 7th Gering DECA had 9 students place in the top 3 at the Regional DECA competition that took place at WNCC 1st Place Dominic Marostica – Business Finance Katelyn Shimic – Human Resource Management 2nd Place Ashlynn Feil – Quick Serve Restaurant Management Trace Leetch – Automotive Services Marketing Ashby Rohnke – Apparel and Accessories Marketing 3rd Place Jose Barrios – Automotive Services Marketing Jenna Davis – Retail Merchandising Jaleigh Kumm – Hotel and Lodging Management Mitchell Moravec – Food Marketing Each DECA member had to take a 100-question comprehensive exam and participate in a judged role-play with a local business professional.

Cap/Gown/Tassel PACKAGE that is $36.00 is the required package. Other packages are available for purchase. Payment arrangements can be made online (split up into 4 smaller payments) through Josten's. If you do not have a debit/credit card to pay online, they can take a check. You will need to see Mr. Marez for that. Apply to College Day for Seniors will be Wednesday October 26th 1:00-2:15 pm in the GHS Commons. During this time, Seniors will be encouraged to apply to colleges of their choice, there will be assistance provided to the students. There will be college representatives, community volunteers, and GHS Staff to assist the students in the application process. There will be food and drawings for prizes. Parents are welcome to attend.
