Lincoln Elementary had the opportunity to present for the school board meeting last night. Mrs. Morales put together an amazing video. She spent time every day teaching all the students the words to "A Million Dreams" and the students sing that song throughout the video. Please enjoy this small look into all the fun and learning we have done at Lincoln Elementary for the first semester of the 2021-22 school year.

Our extremely talented 5th grade class put on a Poetry Cafe today. They created a delectable hot cocoa menu and even recruited some highly skilled baristas from the Administration Office to help make drinks for all of the staff. Students then shared their poems with each other as well as with staff. It was a delightful event that highlighted just how awesome and creative our students are. Fingersnaps to Mrs. Cline, Mrs. Mueller and all of the talented students in 5th grade. #StrongerTogether #BeBlueAndGold #LincolnBulldogStrong

Just a reminder that there is no school Wednesday, November 24 through Friday, November 26th in honor of Thanksgiving. From our family here at Lincoln Elementary to your families, we wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

We are celebrating Thanksgiving early all this week. Monday was Thanksgiving dinner for Kindergarten and some of their families and today, we celebrated with 1st grade and some of their families

Back in August, we shared a great story about a group of elementary boys from Geil and Lincoln (Kain M) that stopped their game of football to honor the flag with their hands over their hearts during the National Anthem being played at a nearby softball game. Members of the Gering American Legion heard about the boys honoring the flag and wanted to do something to honor them. The boys were each presented with their very own American Flag. Thank you boys for showing the community what #TheBullDogWay looks like even when you aren't in school. #BeBlueAndGold #TheLincolnBulldogWay #StrongerTogether

Lincoln teacher's got started bright and early today in a staff forum with Superintendent of Gering Public Schools, Dr. Nicole Regan. We appreciate Dr. Regan stopping by to talk with staff and we look forward to having her visit Lincoln Elementary again.

Last Friday, 5th grade students from Lincoln went to the high school to learn how to properly fold the American Flag. Members of the American Legion were on hand to help students and gave each student their very own flag.
