Gering Junior High will start NSCAS state testing tomorrow, April 19th. Please have chromebooks charged, breakfast served, and attitude ready to showcase your child's hard work over the year. Math and Science(8th ONLY) will be tested in their regular classes over the next two weeks. Thanks for your support and we love having your child.
6th grade families - The State of Nebraska requires all 7th grade students to have a school physical and an updated Tdap immunization. In an effort to help maximize time for our busy families, we have partnered with Regional West Community Health and will offer an immunization clinic during Parent-Teacher Conferences at GJHS on Tuesday, March 14th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Nurse Melissa's office(North of Gym). Reminder for Gering Junior High Students: Wednesday,March 8th is Academic Focus Day. Students who need to makeup work, retake tests or get caught up with work will be asked to come to school from 8AM-12PM to help ensure academic success for the 3rd quarter. Busses will run normal in the morning and 12:30PM in the afternoon. Students who DO NOT have to come were given a GOLDEN ticket today at the end of the day. Lot's of learning ahead, Go Bulldogs!!!

LOCATION CHANGE: Due to a maintenance issue in the auditorium, the GJHS Band Performance will be tonight at 7pm, as previously planned, but is BEING MOVED TO THE GERING HIGH SCHOOL GYM.

Friday in Mrs. Stephens 6th Grade ELA class, students enjoyed a “tea party” while sipping on some good root words! They enjoyed hot chocolate and treats while making their root word tea cup!
