Reminder for Gering Junior High Students: Wednesday,March 8th is Academic Focus Day. Students who need to makeup work, retake tests or get caught up with work will be asked to come to school from 8AM-12PM to help ensure academic success for the 3rd quarter. Busses will run normal in the morning and 12:30PM in the afternoon. Students who DO NOT have to come were given a GOLDEN ticket today at the end of the day. Lot's of learning ahead, Go Bulldogs!!!

Parents will be notified in the next few days if your child needs to come. Students who are passing all their classes and not behind on attendance are not required to attend school on Wednesday, March 8th. Lunch will be provided along with busing in the morning only.

LOCATION CHANGE: Due to a maintenance issue in the auditorium, the GJHS Band Performance will be tonight at 7pm, as previously planned, but is BEING MOVED TO THE GERING HIGH SCHOOL GYM.
Gering Junior High: Last Day for Gift of Love Canned Food Drive. Have each child bring one non-perishable item for our big community fundraiser. Our school is doing great and want to win the school competition and support a great cause.

Friday in Mrs. Stephens 6th Grade ELA class, students enjoyed a “tea party” while sipping on some good root words! They enjoyed hot chocolate and treats while making their root word tea cup!

Gering Junior High will recognize immediate family members of JH students and staff who have served or are actively serving in the military during our Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 11th, at 9:00 am.
