Ms. Smith's FCCLA team had an incredible showing at the District Competition at Chadron State College! Congratulations to Joey Meier for earning a well-deserved silver medal and to Ily Belford and Angelika Billie for their amazing performance, earning bronze ! We're so proud of everyone for their hard work and dedication. Go Dawgs!

Last week, Mrs. Abel's GMS Mathcounts team competed hard and brought home 3rd place! They also earned the 'Most Improved School' award from last year, and had 5 students place in the top 30! Way to go, Dawgs!


Mrs. Harder's 6th-grade science classes rolled up their sleeves and dove into the fascinating world of anatomy today! The students pulled out their tools and learned the art of dissecting frogs. It was an exciting hands-on lesson that brought their science studies to life! 🐸


Mrs. Prokop's GMS Honor Band represented the Bulldogs exceptionally well in North Platte! Keep up the great work and continue to shine! 🌟


Miss Gifford's english classes have been diving deep into the novel Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick, exploring the powerful themes of friendship, courage, and self-identity as we follow the journey of Max and Kevin. We're excited to see where the story takes us next!


Ms. Smith's FCS classes have been having a blast exploring the art of cooking and crafting! From whipping up delicious caramel krispies and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches to learning the cozy skill of crocheting beanies, students are diving into hands-on projects that are both fun and creative. Keep up the amazing work, everyone!

February 3-7th is National School Counselor week and GMS has two of the best! Ms. Davis & Mr. Marlow, thank you for all you do for GMS staff and students, we would be lost without you!
