As the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year winds down, Gering High School has announced its finals schedule, ensuring students are prepared for success as they conclude their coursework.
Finals Schedule Overview
Final exams will take place over two days: Thursday, December 19, 2024, and Friday, December 20, 2024. Each day will follow the same structured timetable:
8:00 - 9:10: Period 1 (Thursday) / Period 2 (Friday)
9:15 - 10:25: Period 3 (Thursday) / Period 4 (Friday)
10:30 - 11:40: Period 5 (Thursday) / Period 6 (Friday)
11:45 - 12:15: Lunch
12:20 - 1:30: Period 7 (Thursday) / Period 8 (Friday)
1:30 - 3:45: Finals Retake and Intervention
Your Success is the Priority
Every teacher is dedicated to helping you finish the semester with confidence. The Finals Retake and Intervention time each afternoon is a built-in opportunity for students to seek extra support, ask questions, or retake exams if needed.
Remember, attendance during all scheduled periods is required, and make-up exams can be arranged directly with instructors, if necessary. However, finals cannot be taken early without prior approval from the Principal, so plan accordingly.
