Due to intense winds overnight and after consultation early this morning with road crews, we have determined that for the safety of students, staff and our community we are going to cancel school for ALL Gering Public Schools Thursday, December 15th.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we continue to thoughtfully weigh these ongoing weather decisions.
Gering Public Schools (PreK-12) WILL be in session tomorrow (Thursday, December 15th), with normal school hours. However, please note that we will NOT run our RURAL bus routes. Please use caution and allow for extra time to/from school.
