(GERING, Neb.) - Gering Public Schools is proud to announce the selection of the Student Ambassador for the 2023-24 school year, GHS Senior, Jenna Davis.
As Student Ambassador, Jenna will help create press releases, develop content for the district social media, app, and website. In addition, she will assist with gift recognitions, special events, and advocate for student perspective.
Jenna shared, "I can't wait to be a voice for students and to learn more about communications and marketing with the help of Mrs. Sibal." Jenna is also involved in NHS, GGAA, Leo club, cross country, and girls basketball.
Gering Public Schools Director of Communications & Engagement, Jennifer Sibal shares, "We are in our fourth year of engaging this student ambassador position. It's proved to be a valuable in capturing the student perspective in a deeper way and to hear ideas for our district by those most directly impacted. We continue to learn and grow this meaningful student experience and are excited to have Jenna on the team."
