A Place For Everyone
Northfield is a Preschool through 5th grade elementary school serving approximately 350 diverse students in northwest Gering. At Northfield Elementary School, we provide a safe, responsible, respectful environment that promotes high levels of student engagement and performance. We honor the diversity and unique strengths and talents of each of our students and dedicate our efforts to help them experience individual success.
Dedicated Team
Our team of 38 staff members, works closely in collaborative teams to provide a focused program of instruction. In addition, specialists in the areas of technology, music, library media, and physical education use their talents and expertise to deliver a rich, well-rounded program.

Our academic expectations are balanced with high levels of support, intervention and enrichment. We offer a complete continuum of services for students ranging from special education to high ability learners (HAL), along with a counselor, PE, technology and music.
