Welcome to Lincoln Elementary, where we honor the unique strengths and talents of every student and dedicate our efforts to support individual success! Lincoln Elementary, located near downtown Gering, Nebraska, serves a diverse population of 400 preschool through 5th grade students. Lincoln Elementary was built in 2012, thanks to the support of our generous Gering Community. Lincoln is Nebraska's first LEED Certified Elementary School.
Experienced & Talented Team
A professional staff of 64 teachers, specialists and paraprofessionals collaborate to create a welcoming, caring, safe, and respectful atmosphere where all students are challenged to achieve or exceed grade level, district and state expectations. Lincoln offers learning opportunities: Student Council, Student Leadership, After School Tutoring, Fifth Grade Lincoln Leaders, What I Need (WIN) Intervention Time, Show Choir, Counseling and Special Education Services, College and Career Speakers, Walk on Wednesdays (WOW), All Pro Parents, TeamMates, Summer School, PBSS, BIST, Boys Town Social Skills, and Girls on the Run.

Gering Elementary Essential Standards
Our academic expectations are balanced with high levels of support, intervention and enrichment. We offer a complete continuum of services for students ranging from special education to high ability learners (HAL), along with a counselor, PE, technology and music.
