Tour Scheduled

In concert with developing a plan for the Lincoln Elementary
building, Gering Public Schools has tentatively scheduled a tour of
two newly constructed school buildings in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Both buildings were constructed using LEED technology
(environmentally friendly, sustainable design guidelines).
Our Board of Education is asking for public input regarding a
plan (click here for an explanation of the options and here to access the comment card). This is a
great opportunity for interested community members to witness the
educational possibilities for Gering. We are still firming up
the details, but the bus tour is tentatively scheduled for December
16. We hope to leave the Central Office between 7:30 and 8:00 am
and return to Gering between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. (Lunch is on
your own.) Please call 436-3125 if you are interested in
participating. We need a firm number to schedule buses.
The deadline to register for the tour is December 14.
