Summary of September 21 Lincoln Building Meeting

More than 100 citizens attended the facility audit meeting on September 21, 2009; they were provided with some very important information regarding the Lincoln Elementary building. As a result of a study completed by the architectural firm RB & B, four possible options were presented to address our elementary facilities needs. Pros and cons were discussed for each option and questions from the audience were answered. One board goal is to experience a successful bond campaign in November 2010 that will address our elementary needs for our district. Our board is in the process of developing a bond plan that garners the most community support. We propose to collect input through October, to provide the community ample time to participate, and then develop a plan by January 1.
